Hi ladies! I’m actually excited for this post because yesterday was one of my favorite people Guiliana Rancic’s birthday! If you do not know who she is, she is most known as the host on E!’s Fashion Police. If anyone knows more about fashion, its her! I probably haven’t done her outfit enough justice but below you can recreate her look at a fairly more affordable price!
If interested in her jeans: I am not sure if they are currently still the same price but it is available on hsn.com!
You all know I’m a ColourPop lover to the max! For the summer, I haven’t been using any bold colors mainly because I haven’t gone anywhere special enough to wear a full face, but I wanted to show you guys the metallic colors that are still in stock on the Colourpop website. Click here.
All metallic liquid lipsticks are $6 each. If you are purchasing for the first time, you can subscribe using your email account to get $5 off your entire purchase!
Still in stock?
The three following colors were not shown in the photo above but are also available NOW as well.
Hi lovies! Keke Palmer recently posted a photo on her instagram with her new short hair. But I wasn’t focused on her hair. Although it does give me Nia Long vibes, I was more focused on the outfit itself. If you guys didn’t know, I love old classic looks! I was so inspired I decided to find a mock of clothes that you can purchase yourself to achieve the same look.
Some of the items below are not the exact clothing in the photo, it is a mock. I tried to find the cheapest price for each item.
Hey lovies! I’m actually excited for this new post because it is an eye look that I’ve been doing all week. It’s so quick and easy to do in the morning to brighten up your face. I’ve been using the Catrice Sand Nudes Eyeshadow Palette from Ulta. I actually love explaining eye looks so if you like this post, there are definitely more to come!
• not tested on animals
• dual sided applicator included
Swatches from palette left to right:
Step 1: For starters, I use more than one brush when applying my eye makeup to create a different effect. Basically all of the applicators I use are from either Bh cosmetics or elf cosmetics.
Using any tapered shadow brush, you are going to pick up the fifth color (slight shimmery taupe brown). Make sure to tap off the excess! You are going to slightly blend into your outer crease using a lighter hand as you gradually bring it into the center.
Step 2: Next you are going to use a smudged brush to cover the entire lid with the third color (peach). Make sure you pat onto the lid rather than rub because the color is shown more.
Step 3: Taking your classic shadow brush, you are going to pick up the fourth color (light mauve brown) and slightly blend in the corner of your outer lid.
Step 4: Again you want to take the smudge brush with the first color (sand pearl) and pat onto the inner lid.
Step 5: Last you can take your tapered shadow brush again and go over the outer crease area bringing it into the center of the crease. This is optional if you feel like the shadow looks dead after you’ve finished your lid shadows.
OPTIONAL STEP 6: If you want to jazz it up a bit, you can bring the fourth shadow (the color put onto the outer lid) on your lower lash line with any fluffy brush of your choice.
My message to you after you’ve completed this look:
Looking for a mascara to finish this look?I used the Big Full Impact Mascara. Check out my review here.

Recently, Elf cosmetics has been added to Ulta’s website. I am super excited because most likely it will soon be available in select stores. I don’t really like shopping for makeup online. Colors are never scaled as shown so seeing and testing in person is important for me. Elf’s products are cut-rate but exceptional. They are currently having a grand final sale on their website! Literally items are $1! To check out the sale, click here.
But before you go, not every product you buy has be over $30 to be the best product in the world. You can create an entire face less than $30 and look just as gorgeous. Today I did what I consider a normal delicate face using only Elf cosmetics.
Poreless Face Primer $6.00
– reduces enlarged pores and fine lines
– infused with tea tree and Vitamin A/E
Acne Fighting Foundation in Caramel $6.00
Instant Brow Lift Pencil in Deep Brown $2.00
3 in 1 Mascara $3.00
Baked Bronzer in Los Cabos $3.00
– perfect use as your bronze and highlight
– contains rose, apricot and grape for hydration and nourishment
Blush in Mellow Mauve $3.00
– blends into a silky finish
Matte Lip Color in Tea Rose $3.00
Okay my total has come up to $26! This same amount is the result of 7 items rather than one item on my face.
All photos are not my own. They from the ulta website. Thank you for reading and I hope this shows you don’t need to go out and spend a ton on one beauty product.
New York Color is a noteworthy affordable brand that is basically available in every drugstore including Walmart and Kmart. I would be lying if I said I enjoyed every single product they have created but most of their products are not as bad as the price may set them to be. I obviously have tried this brand before. In fact, most of my mascaras are from here! Practically all! I wanted to spotlight a new buy that I have been loving and that’s the BIG BOLD Full Impact Mascara.
It’s literally only $4.99 and works better than ever! It doesn’t make my lashes super clumpy and doesn’t smudge at all. It’s really good at grabbing and lengthening my lashes because it is infused with bamboo and keratin. I definitely recommend buying and trying this. I would not recommend using for bottom lashes since it is a bigger brushes and can probably get messy but you can obviously make it work like I do. Simply use a Q-tip to clean up the extra.
Available at Walmart, Kmart, Target, Family Dollar, and DuaneReade.
Now we all remember High School Musical and Suite Life of Zack and Cody’s favorite blonde! No other than Ashley Tisdale herself. She has partnered up with BH Cosmetics to create a illumination of (highlight) products that are worth a double take. It has been known that all of Bh cosmetics products are vegan so this is available to everyone. They are known for their pigmented eyeshadows and highlighters with the most affordable prices ever!
I was so intrigued by this collection since I love a shimmery glow that I had to spotlight two items! To be honest, I am actually more excited to see someone from my childhood step into the makeup industry!
She created a palette that is limited to 5 per customer. It is full of warm and sunkissed shimmers. It couldn’t have been released at a better time. This is called Night Goddess by her Illuminate collection with Bh.
It is kind of on the expensive side of what BH is known for but obviously price was bumped since it is Ashley Tisdale.
Next, these two shimmer bronzers. Now I don’t wear bronzer mainly because I just feel it makes me look muddy. I love a baked bronzer because you can basically add it to so much! Again, it was limited 5 to each person but I’m sure anyone who wanted to get their hands on it, DID.
I do believe these products will be amazing because this company has never failed me once. I hope you guys are just as much as excited for this collection as I am. If you have any questions about their products, you can always send them a message on their web page! Lip glosses and a cream kit is also apart of the collection if you want to check it out go to bhcosmetics.com. Links are directly captioned under photos if interested.
In the summer doing your hair becomes a dreadful thing. Since it is so hot, you may be used to constantly putting it up into a tight or messy bun. But what about those days where you actually do want to do your hair nice but it’s way too hot to keep it down? The wind is always strongest during the summer near the beach and it can be super annoying when all of your hair is in your face! I wanted to share some styles I found on pinterest to give a little spice to your looks yet keep it out of the eyes!
Instead of a low slick bun, add some braids in the mix. Simply split your hair into three parts and braid the front sides going backwards. Make a bun out of the back portion and cross the braids around creating a cinnabon effect.Perfect for the heat that will guaranteed endless compliments.
This is the one for that 2 to 3 days hair that you don’t feel like washing. Messy lown buns are the cutest style and looks like you actually tried knowing it took no effort at all.
Of course, we couldn’t forget about two cornrolls going to the back of the head. I literally have been wearing my hair like this to the pool, to the beach, to the park, everywhere. It is easy to make this messy or neat depending on your mood. It keeps all of the hair out of your face so you’ll feel less hot as well.
And for those who like their high ponytails lets make it sleek and tight! Adding a fishtail braid to it, gives it that spunk and edge.
I hope you guys enjoyed these ideas and let me know what you think in the comments below. Be sure to follow me on We ♡ It @thatssolex.

We all know Kylie Jenner’s Lip Kits have been a huge success since it’s launch in December of 2015. She has created a victorious cosmetic line and continues to add new shades as we speak.
Previously, Kylie has named shades after her older sisters, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian followed by her grandmother Mary Jo. But what about Kris Jenner? Everyone knows that Kris Jenner usually always wants to be apart of something. And now Kylie has welcomed her to the lip kit family. (I hope she comes out with a shade for Kendall and Kim soon!) I personally think it’s unique that she has named certain colors after her family members. It definitely brings a different touch to makeup even though we all know OPI’s nail polish names top everything! Well, congrats Kris! You made it to the collection!
Along with the photo above, Kris Jenner posted on her twitter her enthusiasm for this surprise.
Her Tweet: My baby girl named her LipKit after me. I am so honored, I love you Ky! #Kristen I’m so obsessed.
She has two other shades coming out along with Kristen on Wednesday, July 20th!
Ginger • Maliboo • Kristen
I feel like Ginger and Kristen are gorgeous summer colors. Maliboo is another nude shade of course and I feel like her collection has had enough of the nude colors but that’s just personal preferences. I have YET to get my hands on any of the lip kits which is why I haven’t reviewed them yet but I do plan on clicking Ginger and Kristen in my cart on July 20th.
This post is a little different from what I usually post but I like sharing some beauty/celebrity news with you guys.

I love ColourPop’s liquid lipsticks! They are so creamy and true to color. They definitely have a variety of choices that you can use for summer but these are my favorites thus far from the ultra satin collection. Go to colourpop.com for further information.
